Our Story

OKAJIAN’s lineage can be traced back to Armenia in 1908 with the birth of “Garaped Okajian”, relocating to Lebanon and building wooden military caserns in Tripoli. The company founder “Agop Okajian”, at a very young age, following in his father’s footsteps, enlarged the scope of work and started customizing doors and windows by renting common workspaces in the old markets. Further expanding his services in 1972, he ventured into the world of custom architectural woodworks; and in 1974 officially launched Okajian as it stands today.

During his long career he catered to the tastes of some of the region’s most exclusive and demanding clients delivering outstanding projects both in Lebanon and abroad. Okajian today is the culmination of his efforts and the new labor of love that his three children, the third generation in Okajian’s history, have instilled in the company.

An interior architect “Levon”, an engineer “Vahe”, and a Chief of production “Aram”; work together to take Okajian into new grounds in Lebanon and abroad with a new approach to architectural woodworks, from designs to implementation.
